Refund Eligibility and Process

Orders cancelled within 24 hours of purchase are eligible for a full refund, which will be issued to the original form of payment. This includes purchases made using split payment methods such as Affirm, Afterpay, Klarna, and similar services.

Orders cancelled after the 24-hour window are not eligible for a refund. All sales are considered final beyond this period.

Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within 3 business days. Please note that your bank or financial institution may take up to 14 business days to reflect the credit in your account. If we are unable to return the funds to your original payment method, a refund check will be mailed within 30 days, minus a $10 processing and postage fee. Refunds must be requested online via a support ticket. This information will also be provided in your order confirmation email after successful checkout.

We accept the following forms of payment at Swim|Republic:

  • Major Debit & Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and $Cash App.

  • Swim|Republic™ Gift Cards, Store Credit, and Discount Coupons.

Pre-Order and Backorder Policy

Pre-Order Policy

Swim|Republic offers exclusive access to upcoming styles through our pre-order service—giving you the chance to reserve high-demand items before they’re in stock.

  • What Is a Pre-Order: An advance purchase of an item not yet available for immediate shipment.

  • Estimated Arrival: Items generally ship on or before the availability date. We’ll notify you of changes.

  • Manufacturer Delays: If a delay prevents fulfillment, a full refund will be issued per our Terms of Sale.

  • Mixed Orders: In-stock items ship immediately; pre-order items ship separately when available.

  • Cancellation: Pre-orders cannot be cancelled once placed.

Backorder Policy

  • Backordered Items: Usually restocked within 14 business days.

  • Order Fulfillment: Orders ship promptly once inventory is replenished.

  • Manufacturer Limitations: If restock is unavailable, a refund will be issued as per our Terms of Sale.

Gift Card Policy

Effective Date: 08/04/2025

  1. Redemption & Restrictions

    • Valid only through our official websites.

    • Minimum purchase of $25.00.

    • Not combinable with discounts or promotions.

    • Non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable for cash.

    • Sold as-is; no reissue or replacement once issued.

  2. Expiration & Balance Refund

    • Valid for 5 years per New Mexico and federal law.

    • Balances under $5.00 will be refunded by check within 30 business days.

    • Customers are responsible for tracking expiration and balances.

  3. Lost, Stolen, or Misused Gift Cards

    • Treated like cash. Not liable for misuse or loss.

    • Replacements issued only if card is unused and verified.

  4. Fraud, Abuse & Policy Violations

    • Cards may be refused, held, or cancelled if suspected of abuse.

    • Violations may result in forfeiture of balance.

  5. Chargebacks and Enforcement

    • Invalid chargebacks are considered attempted theft.

    • Chargeflow will manage disputes, and legal remedies will be pursued.

  6. Applicable Law & Hold Harmless

    • Governed by New Mexico law.

    • Hold harmless clause applies for misuse, fraud, or expiration.

Store Credit Policy

Effective Date: 08/04/2025

  1. General Terms

    • Issued at Swim|Republic’s discretion.

    • No cash value; non-transferable or giftable.

    • Can be used to make a purchase for someone else.

  2. Expiration

    • Expires 60 days from issuance.

    • No reinstatement or reminder provided.

  3. Where It Can Be Used

    • Valid only at www.swimrepublic.com

    • Not valid at Sunset@Vine, Sunset@Vine Express, Nola Ivy, or pop-ups.

  4. Revocation & Cancellation

    • Can be revoked for fraud, theft, or policy abuse.

    • No dispute or appeal process.

  5. Limitations of Liability

    • Not liable for lost or misused credit.

    • Issued “as-is” and not guaranteed.

  6. Fraud Prevention & Enforcement

    • Misuse may result in account suspension, order cancellation, or legal action.

Final Sale Policy

Beyond the initial 24-hour cancellation window, all sales are final. No exchanges or returns are accepted. Please review your order and measurements carefully before checkout.

Chargeback Policy

We take fraudulent and unauthorized chargebacks seriously. If you believe a transaction was made in error, contact our support team before filing a chargeback.

All sales are final outside the 24-hour window. Filing a chargeback after this period for fulfilled orders is a policy violation.

We use Chargeflow® to manage chargebacks. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:

  • Legal recovery of costs and fees

  • Reporting of fraudulent activity

  • Account suspension

Damaged or Faulty Items

If you receive a damaged or faulty item (not due to shipment), submit a support ticket immediately. Sizing issues or ordering mistakes do not qualify.

We offer optional Route® package protection at checkout, which covers:

  • Loss

  • Theft

  • Transit Damage

If Route® is declined, Swim|Republic is not responsible for post-shipment loss or damage.

Typographical Error Disclaimer

If an item is listed with incorrect pricing or product details due to an error, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse any such orders—regardless of confirmation or payment.

No Resale Policy

All purchases are for personal use only. Reselling via any channel is prohibited. Orders suspected of resale may be cancelled.

Terms of Sale Scope

This Terms of Sale Agreement applies exclusively to purchases made through Swim|Republic at https://swimrepublic.com. Products sold through our Sunset@Vine, Sunset@Vine Express, and Nola Ivy stores are governed by separate Terms of Sale policies.

Swim|Republic offers only Standard Shipping. Each store operates independently with unique terms and product offerings.
