We offer a 24-hour risk-free refund window to give you peace of mind after placing your order. If you change your mind for any reason, you may request a full refund within 24 hours of purchase.

After the 24-hour period has passed, all sales are considered final and no refunds will be issued. We encourage you to review your order details carefully before completing your purchase.

Damaged or Defective Items

Damaged or Defective Item Policy

At Swim Republic, all items are carefully inspected for quality before shipment. Returns or exchanges for damaged or defective merchandise will only be considered if the item was damaged or defective at the time it was packaged and prepared at our warehouse.

Our automated inventory system captures photos of all items prior to shipment as part of our fulfillment and quality-control process. Swim Republic is not responsible for items damaged, mishandled, or rendered defective in transit after leaving our warehouse.

Examples of damage or defects may include:

  • Visible stains or discoloration present before wear
  • Tears in the fabric or seams
  • Rips, holes, or split stitching
  • Broken straps, clasps, or attached hardware caused by a manufacturing defect

Customers submitting a damaged or defective item claim will be required to upload clear photos of the damage for review and exchange approval. Claims are subject to inspection and verification by our support team.

If your claim is approved and the same item is no longer in stock, Swim Republic will issue store credit in the amount of the original item value.

For added peace of mind, Swim Republic has partnered with Route® for package protection. We strongly encourage customers to insure their shipments for a small additional fee at checkout.

Shipping Protection

Package Protection & Claims

If you purchased shipment protection through Route® and your package has been lost, damaged, or stolen in transit, you may file a claim directly with Route using the link below.

File a Claim with Route®

Route® provides coverage for qualifying shipping issues and will handle the claims process, including resolution and reimbursement where applicable.

If package protection was not purchased during checkout, Swim Republic is not responsible for packages once they have been handed off to the carrier. In these cases, we are unable to assist with support or recovery. We recommend contacting the shipping carrier directly to report and resolve any delivery issues. Common carriers include USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.

Our team will review your refund request for validity within 3 business days. If your request is approved and eligible, your refund will be issued to the original form of payment.

Please note that once a refund is processed, it may take your bank or financial institution up to 14 days to post the funds to your account.

If we are unable to return the refund to the original form of payment, a paper check will be automatically mailed within 30 days, less a $10.00 processing and postage fee.

You will receive an email confirmation once your refund request has been approved or denied.
